A fresh aroma of coffee and crisp pastries, a friendly smile and a polite ‚Have a nice day!’ – from staff at the new bistro of the Delme Workshops are a matter of course. However, the fact that disabled persons carry out completely normal work here is not so self-evident.

To change this, we developed a concept for training and exercise operations in close coordination with the building owner, with the aim of reducing inhibitions on both sides of the counter. Bright woods and warm colours indoors are smart contrast to the dark clinker and glass on the facade. The appearance of ‚dw is reminiscent of petrol stations and diners of the 1950s and 1960s. A tongue-in-cheek reminder of more easy-going times!

As an enhancement to the complex, the conservatory, an extension of the canteen, opens to the rear garden with extensive glazing.
