Central building for a holiday resort, Center Parcs Bostalsee

Projektdaten einblenden

In addition to family-oriented and target-group optimised overnight options, the recipe for Center Parcs’ success is the winning combination of a natural, recreational environment and a large number of leisure and restaurant offers that can be visited year round by all age groups, with little or slightly more money to spend. The central building of the holiday park at Lake Bostal (Saarland) was built with a total area of around 13.000 m².

At the centre of the site, the “Aqua Mundo” - roughly 3.800 m² in size – makes up the subtropical water park typical for Center Parcs, with numerous attractions and spacious areas to pass the time. Along with a wave pool, various water slides, and a water playground for children of all ages, the “Aqua Mundo“ also offers an additional outdoor pool approx. 240m² in size and heated throughout the year. For the purpose of theming this area, the design of the central building is based on a storyboard developed by geising + böker. The idea of an expedition around the equator and across all continents, in search of “lucky charms“ and rare plant species consolidates the attractions at Center Parcs by having them relate to each other, making it a unique experience.

In the so-called “Market Dome” - the core of the complex -, various restaurants, a supermarket, an indoor playground, an indoor miniature golf course, a bowling alley and many other offers provide the whole family with the possibility for diverse activities, regardless of the weather.
